WE LUV: All About Bebe

Our blog has been a depressing and pathetic excuse of a blog, with zero activity for the past SEVEN months!  Ahhhhh!  Thus begins a mid-year resolution campaign to become more blog happy!  :)
And no better way to start as we look forward to Children's Day tomorrow!  Not only is May 5th a fiesta day in Mexican culture, but it is also a national holiday celebrating children in Japan and Korea.

Applauding our kids most fashionably is All About Bebe, a kid-inspired boutique retailing stylish baby & children's clothing and accessories.

Every piece in their online and in-store collection has been methodically selected and only featured for a limited time with limited quantities, keeping each item more exclusive and unique.
Definitely wishing I was a size 5T so I can be just as stylish!
Don't you love these leggings?!!

Not to forget the little misters!

In honor of Children's Day and our little buddies, All About Bebe will give away one SUPER CUTE BOY/GIRL TOP!  Many ways to enter, but only one lucky winner!

Tweet Tweet

While we don't expect to reach the same caliber of popularity as Justin Bieber, we have taken another step towards reaching out to the masses and now can be found on twitter!
Honestly can't imagine our twitter contributions being very exciting or stimulating, but hope it will give us an opportunity to meet and connect with new and old friends of Petite Productions.

Picture Perfect

My dear friend Minmi, who is usually behind the camera at every birthday party, was the center of attention at this event, along with her baby Ashton, as Minmi's son celebrated his first birthday!
It truly was a picture perfect day and friends and family not only had Ashton's birthday to celebrate, but also Minmi's brand new studio space, where the party was held.
With Minmi and husband Tony obviously unavailable to take their own event pictures, we had Nick Yutaka Photographers and Tien Wang Photography do the honors.
** NOTE: CLICK ON IMAGES TO ENLARGE **
Our event theme was inspired by a decal of a cow and chicken overlooking a cow-egg, which is the background image behind Ashton's crib. Minmi loved the adorable images and wanted to develop the look of the event around them. I think we managed to accomplish that!
We needed a birthday cake to not be just a cake! Melody from Sweet & Saucy Shop used our cow-egg-chicken inspiration and created the most playful character cakes! I know Minmi secretly hoped to preserve these and keep them forever!
The decor was casual yet classy with crisp white cabana structures, long tables creating clean lines, and vibrant flowers by Enchanted Florist to accent.
A variety of entertainment was available from a live puppet show and petting zoo, along with a kids craft area so parents could enjoy some free time to eat! Considering the event was hosted by a photography family, it was only appropriate that there be a photo area for families and guests to take pictures together! And everyone enjoyed the tunes and MC-ing of DJ Jeff Holmes from Moonlight Mobile Music.
Melody came through again with not only delciious, but the most incredibly cute mini desserts. Look at the little cow and chick cake pops peeping out of the grass. And the adorable chick-cakes and rice krispy treats "tipped" in cow print! So many sweet edibles to enjoy!
What makes this all so picture perfect is our guest of honor, Mr. Ashton Kim. Happy Birthday Ashton and congratulations to the Kim family!

Twin One, Twin Two

I had the pleasure of assisting Angela when she was getting married at the St. Regis a few years ago... Still to this day one of the more memorable weddings I was able to be a part of! Recently, we were able to reconnect as she was preparing for her sister's baby shower. With her sister expecting twin boys, Angela decided on a Dr. Seuss Thing One Thing Two theme and it was beyond adorable! I had a very minor role with shower planning as all the special details were the result of Angela's creativity! But I was thrilled to be a small part of another special occasion for the El Haj family!

So many creative and colorful touches that personalized the Dr. Seuss themed shower.

Lounge area set up for gift opening post luncheon. Furniture provided by Lounge Appeal with custom covered throw pillows to accent.

Doesn't mom look great?! This picture was with just a few weeks to go and she honestly looked smaller than some woman that are just carrying one child! Congratulations again to the El Haj family!

Happy New Year!... minus 25 days

I am amazed that 2011 is already upon us and we've already completed 25 days of this new year! Truly time seems to travel by much faster these days!
Blogging updates have been non-existent since June of last year, which I apologize for. As each new year begins with a few resolutions, I hope to resolve one of them as soon as possible and share with you many of the wonderful celebrations Petite Productions had the pleasure of participating in, in 2010.
Please be sure to check back in the next few days as our first of long awaited posts is a little extra dear to my heart... my daughter Sera's birthday!
Here is a little teaser!
